The best way to learn to use this tool is to experiment with it.

Getting Started
To get started, sign in.
Click on the 'edit' link above to add content to this page. You and other contributors can also comment on pages using the 'discussion' link at the top of every page.

Practise, practise, practise!
  • You need not worry about erasing your writings here in this Sandbox page
  • This tool is very much like Word docs
  • Scroll up/down the page to find the SAVE buttons
  • Save, then erase and save again. Click on HISTORY and review what you have done. You can revert to a previous version
  • Click on DISCUSSION, try to put a comment
  • Write something, paint it, go to the WORLD icon in the toolbar above and create or remove a link. You can create a link to a page that does not exist yet. That is you create a page, or you can link to an external web page.

Quick Help

In brief:

Click on new page
Name the page like this:
your username task id
Tag the page
your username task id

Write your answer. Press SAVE.

That's it!

In more detail:

How do I post my homework?

To do your homework, you

Find Homework

  • Go to the projects page (check out the sidebar!), find your course.
  • Follow the link to the rubrics (read carefully all the instructions).

New Page

  • Then click on New Page (top left of the sidebar)
  • A box pops up for you to name your page. There you write your nick and the task ID in small case no stress marks (the wiki writes the + sign on its own)
Example: analia sample1 (and not Analía)

Tag

  • go to the bottom of the page and tag it with the same words as in the example. You need to use commas.
Example: analia, sample1

That's it. There you have your page to post your homework!

Editing

When you correct your homework, please make any necessary editions on top of the previous version so that we can use the History tab to help us learn. Avoid cutting and pasting paragraphs below.

If it is not quite clear, you can find more detail and videos in the Tutorials page.
